Heinrich Treibhäuser und die keilerey auf der Wartburg
Heinrich Treibhäuser, who, after his escape from Venus' cave of sin, was taken up by earl Purzl in the woods.
During the minnesingers' contest on the Wartburg Treibhäuser reports on his forbidden adventures in the realm of Venus.
To punish him, he has to join the singing company, which is banished on the grounds of contemporary tendencies, and may not return until he has lost his voice. Far away from home, Treibhäuser sings many future compositions, but he does not succeed in ruining his voice. Frustrated, he returns and dies at the sight of his dead lover Lisi instead of being condemned to eternity in Venus's cave.
